‘System’ -Joey Script

0:00 – 0:01 – Extreme close up of officer. “Attention”
0:01 – 0:02 – Shots of cast standing in line
0:02 – 0:05 – Shots of cast standing in line ”Stand at ease”
0:05 – 0:10 – Collective shots of different locations (briefly explaining storyline)
0:10 – 0-19 - More shots of army (marching feet and panning shot of faces)
0:19 – 0:20 – Jump cut to reveal Joe in a line up
0:20 – 0:26 - Joe starts rapping (frantic hand gestures and track backwards)
0:26 – 0:27 – Medium long shot of Joe breaking out of line (starts to run)
0:27 – 0:31 – Continued Surveillance shot of Joe running
0:31 – 0:35 – Performing to the surveillance camera/system (then runs off screen)
0:35 – 0:37 – Close up of someone else in the ‘system’ lip syncs ‘how typical same old system’
0:37- 0:39 - Medium close shot of officer shows a picture of Joe. Other officer lip syncs, “he already left just missed him”
0:39 – 0:43 – running away performing.
0:43 – 0:51- Joe in the foreground rapping with everyone in the background. At 0.43 “Scream. Monster” people in background make demented/scary faces. (Shake camera)
At 0.51 “say you wanna have me for lunch. Anaconda” Queue tracking shot towards Joe (scary smile) -> invisible cut.
0:51 – 0:58 – performing to the camera (Basement shot)
0:58 – 1:05 – tracking shot of Joe running
1:05 – 1.07 – collective shots of other people breaking the system
1.07 – 1:13 – Joe looks up to camera as he’s escaping (camera follows his eyes to reveal surveillance camera). Switch to high angle shot from surveillance point of view ->(invisible cut) switch to computer screen track outwards to over shoulder shot of officer looking at him on cameras.
1:13 – 1:21 - Track forward over the shoulder to a different computer screen, which shows a medium shot of Joe rapping. Zoom towards his face of him performing.
1:21 – 1:22 – Joe performing to surveillance camera
1:22 – 1:24 – extreme close up of people lip-syncing
1:24 – 1:28 – jump cut back to Joe performing to surveillance camera - “You can do it on your own don’t sit on my lap” On ‘lap’ Joe slaps the camera.
1:28 - 1:29 - Screen in surveillance room goes fuzzy
1:29 – 1:36 – broken shots of officer running into boardroom (8) explaining Joe is gone. Close up of faces “...or you can just dance” queue - Extreme close up of hand slamming down
1:36 – 1:38 – jump cut to people in black dancing.
1:38 – 1:40 – cut to people jumping down from buildings
1:40 – 1:43 – jump cut to line up in basement.
1:43 – 1:45 – Cut to people free running (officers chasing)
1:45 – 1:48 – Joe performance shot at bus garage
1:48 – 1:52 – Broken cuts of Brianne and Joe running
1:52 - 1:54 – extreme close up of lip-syncing “long time high jack”
1:54 – 1:55 – jump cut to boardroom officer giving orders to find Joe
1:55 – 1:57 – broken cuts of officer going back to surveillance room -> zoom into screen (try to find Joe)
1:57 - 1:59 – Officer on walkie-talkie points finger camera follows finger into screen
1:59 – 2:01 –Broken shots of sunset (4)
2:01 – 2:03 – dispersed people and Joe come together outside unicorn building on ‘relevant’
2:03 – 2:05 – Joe and other people run up stairs of building to a room with ‘System’ documents in
2:05 – 2:07 – close up of Joe taking documents titled “System” on ‘…evidence’
2:07 – 2:11 – Performance shot of Joe in basement
2:11 – 2:15 – on ‘…dance’ group behind Joe start dancing
2:15 – 2:18 – Joe holding up ‘system’ papers to camera with relevant actions to “why’d you make these systems lay these laws and say who’s in them”
2:18 – 2:22 – cut to shot of people dancing
2:22 – 2:24 – extreme close up of Joe performing
2:24 – 2:26 – Medium shot of surveillance room and all the cameras looking for Joe
2:26 – 2:30 – cut to Joe performing to camera
2:30 – 2:33 – medium close up of random people lip-syncing

2:37 – 2:39 – cut to group of officers running after Joe
2:39 - 2:41 – medium close up of Joe’s feet running
2:41 – 2:45 – Joe running towards and past camera. Cut to officers running in same direction
2:45 – 2:53 – Joe runs into basement towards end. Turns around and smiles. (Light flickers on and off) when light comes back on Joe is gone
2:53 – 2:57 – officers run into basement thinking Joe is there. To find that he isn’t, officers act baffled
2:57 -3:12 – switch between broken shots of Joe walking away with group down alleyway with duffle bags and shot of Joe on his own walking away with duffle bag

Planning on filming on the 15th October 3:30pm to 6:30pm (make sure Joe can do that day)
At the moment we have 54 people saying that they will attend our video shoot

Props
Everyone has to wear black- Roughly equal number of boys to girl

Track-
-Ask joe if he could get the track smoothed over before the actual filming- by the end of the week
-Send him an email just confirming he can use the track
-Get all the blogs sorted & make everyone has followed each other & knows there duties
-Bring camera in by wednesday/Thursday and take pictures of our AT school locations
-Have a meeting next monday with people who have volunteered to help.
